How quickly will I get a reply?
We aim to respond to every message within two business days (Australian time). Simple questions usually get answered faster; bug reports and feature requests may take a bit longer if we need to investigate or prioritise them against other work. We read every message personally — there's no autoresponder filtering things out.
I've found a bug. What info should I include?
The more detail, the faster we can reproduce and fix it. Ideally: the exact URL you were checking, the browser and device you were using, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and — if possible — a screenshot of the error. If the bug only happens with specific pages, including one or two example URLs is enormously helpful.
Can I suggest a new feature or a new check?
Yes, please. We've added several checks based on user suggestions over the years, and we always want to know which SEO signals people actually care about. Tell us what you'd like to see and why — real-world use cases carry a lot of weight when we're deciding what to build next.
Do you accept guest posts or link exchanges?
No — we don't publish guest posts, we don't do link exchanges, and we don't buy or sell backlinks. All the content on Meta Tag Checker is written by us, for our own audience. Please don't waste your time (or ours) pitching link-for-link schemes.
